You spoke, and I listened! Wordzor Lite 1.1.0 is a major update that includes several new features and fixes:
- New 6x6 or 8x8 grid option - The 8x8 grid made the letters too small for most people, even with the zooming and not having to touch the exact next letter. The 6x6 grid option gives you a smaller grid with bigger letters. The zoom window and other features are still there, but the letters are easier to touch. This is much better for casual playing and quick games. The 6x6 grid's bombs start with a timer of 6 instead of the 9 used by the 8x8 grid.
- Better random letters in easy mode - Easy mode wasn't very easy because of the poor letter distribution. It was based on getting a certain percentage of vowels (There was a 50% chance of having either a vowel or consonant in the old Easy mode). The new Easy mode picks letters based on the letter frequencies in the English language - more specifically, it's based on the letter distribution in Scrabble® letter tiles. This gives you more E's, R's, T's, etc, and less X's and Z's.
- Medium mode now included in Wordzor Lite - because some people liked the old random letter distribution and I didn't want to alienate those fans, the old Easy mode is now the new Medium mode. Now you can pick between Easy or Medium in Wordzor Lite.
- Letter scoring fixes - with the Easy mode fix, I made the rarer and harder letters worth more points. I'm going to post a breakdown of the letter scores soon.
- Bug fixes - fixed a few crashes (Force Closes, as they're known in the Android user community) and some other issues. Please report any bugs you find!
